Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy
Last updated:
Ending future subscription renewals, withdrawing from a new contract and deleting your account are different actions. This policy explains each. It supplements our Terms of Service and does not restrict mandatory consumer rights.
1. Cancel a subscription or free trial
In Repostly, open Billing and choose Cancel plan. You can also use Manage subscriptions, manage your Sold through Link order at your Link account, or send us an unequivocal cancellation notice by email or post using the details below. You do not need to give a reason for ordinary cancellation or use a particular email subject. If you cannot access your account, you can still contact us.

Include enough information to identify your account and subscription, such as the account email and order/subscription reference if available. Tell us if you seek termination for cause or a particular effective date. If you do not specify a date, we treat the notice as seeking cancellation at the earliest permissible date. We may ask for proportionate identity verification, but never your password or full payment-card details.
Ordinary cancellation normally stops the next renewal. You keep access through the current paid period, or until the end of an active free trial. Cancel before the disclosed trial end to avoid the first charge. Check the cancellation confirmation for the effective date; simply closing the checkout page, disconnecting a social account or stopping use of Repostly does not cancel a subscription.
Mandatory earlier termination rights take precedence over period-end billing. In particular, where § 309 no. 9 BGB applies, a consumer’s automatically continued contract after its initial term is indefinite and terminable with no more than one month’s notice. This applies even if the payment system displays an annual renewal interval. Prepaid amounts covering time after a legally effective earlier termination are reimbursed as required by law. Termination for cause and rights arising from unavailable or defective services remain unaffected.
When paid access ends, paid publishing, workflows and other restricted features are limited or paused. Review pending posts before your access ends; a saved schedule is not a promise of publication without the required access. Subscription cancellation does not itself delete your account, media library or posts already published on social platforms.
2. Consumer right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)
Withdrawal instructions for the service contract with Repostly
If you are a consumer with a statutory right of withdrawal, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The period is 14 days from conclusion of the contract, subject to the statutory rules on receiving the required withdrawal information. A trial or later first charge does not automatically restart this period.
To exercise the right, inform Daivee UG (haftungsbeschränkt) at the postal address, email or telephone number above of your decision by a clear statement. You may use the model form below, but it is not compulsory. You do not need our approval to withdraw. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your withdrawal notice before the period expires.
Effects of withdrawal
On a valid withdrawal, all payments received under the withdrawn contract are reimbursed without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receipt of your withdrawal notice. Reimbursement uses the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a reimbursement fee. If no payment was collected during a trial, there is no payment to reimburse.
Starting the service during the withdrawal period
Simply logging in, scheduling a post or using analytics does not remove the statutory withdrawal right. For a paid service, early expiry on complete performance requires the legally required express consent to start early and acknowledgment that the right will be lost only once the service is fully performed. An ongoing subscription is not fully performed just because access has been enabled.
A proportionate charge for service supplied before withdrawal can only be due if the statutory conditions are met, including your express request for an early start and the required prior information. Without those conditions, use of the service alone does not justify such a charge. Any more favourable refund promise remains available.
Purchases sold through Link
Stripe Managed Payments handles purchases through Sold through Link. Its purchase terms and transaction support provide an additional route for cancellation and refund requests, including the cooling-off right described for EU and UK consumers. Use the seller/contact information on your order confirmation for a notice concerning that purchase. You may also contact Repostly for help with the order and service. These routes do not limit an effective statutory withdrawal notice or mandatory rights against Repostly.
3. Our initial-payment refund offer and other remedies
In addition to statutory rights, you can request a refund of your first subscription payment within 14 days of that initial payment by contacting us. This offer applies to new subscriptions, including the first payment after an eligible trial; it is separate from the statutory withdrawal period measured from contract conclusion. It does not create a new voluntary refund period after every renewal or plan change.
Refunds are processed through Stripe/Link to the original payment method. We aim to initiate approved voluntary refunds promptly; statutory deadlines take precedence. Ordinary cancellation alone does not normally entitle you to a refund for an otherwise properly supplied current period. However, rights arising from billing errors, unauthorized charges, withdrawal, defective or missing services, an effective earlier termination or a more favourable applicable Link policy are not excluded.
Contact us if the service does not work as agreed. Statutory remedies may include correction, price reduction, termination and reimbursement. You do not have to wait for a 72-hour outage before invoking an applicable statutory remedy. A platform outage or API change does not automatically remove those rights.
4. Account closure and deletion
To close your account or request erasure, contact us using the details above. State whether you also want an active subscription cancelled so that the billing position can be resolved and confirmed. Do not assume that a data-erasure request alone has stopped future charges before cancellation is confirmed.
Keep your original media and request any needed access or portable personal data before closure. We handle deletion across relevant records and providers, taking account of statutory retention and legal claims, as explained in our Privacy Policy. We do not promise automatic removal of every record within 30 days. Deleting Repostly data does not remove published content from your social accounts or erase transaction records that Stripe/Link must retain.
5. Suspension, termination and disputes
Suspension or termination by Repostly is governed by the grounds, notice requirements and remedies in our Terms of Service and applicable law. It does not automatically forfeit a statutory refund. Contact us with complaints; we are neither willing nor obliged to participate in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. Your right to use the competent courts remains unaffected.
6. Model withdrawal form
Complete and send this form only if you wish to withdraw. A clear statement in another format is equally acceptable. For a Sold through Link purchase, you can also use the contact route on your order confirmation as described above.
